It's been a while since I last came here, I'm seriously considering stepin' by far more often now that I've had few more reasons to.

I could get some sleep and that's given me a new perspective. The programmers have achieve a full "toy" and that let's us only focus in detail polishing.
By 3:00 which was the deadline we became aware of a bug that didn't let the player to restart the game after finishing but we manage to fix it right before time.
The game is being uploaded to the global game jam site where will be available along with many others from around the world.

Well, we're nearly finished. My team has accomplished the task of building a gaem from scratch. Not a good one but the one we could build in the amount of time. Only a couple of tweaks in the code and the audio.
I haven't slept well so now I'm exhausted. I'd like to improve the graphic interface but that doesn't depend upon me anymore, the sprites I gave are already in place and can not be easily updated.
Some other teams have got amazing graphics and game play but they are also larger teams of friends with experience and loads of pre-built resources.
I acknowledge their work since they are nice helpful talented people but I wish they would have told me we could bring our own team with pre-built tools and that way make something even better, but that was left to learn for the next time. I also regret not having taken proper rest at home as many people did, I would be far better by now.
Tomorrow we plan to finish, in spite of everything I still loved the experience and learned loads of new stuff. Next time will be different.

One stone, 3 birds!
It's time to get to work.
I just posted on the gallery an image of the character that will help me build the other ones.
I got assistance from the guys at the pc lab who helpd me configure my Ubuntu environment.
I could repair the wireless device, my trackball and the 2 monitor display in only 30 mins, these guys really kick some ass!
It's almost 9 o'clock, only 44 hours left to finish the game so It's time to really start working.

I think it's enough for today, the girl character I was supposed to model doesn't exactly look as expected and that's maybe not good. Everyone is leaving now to take some rest while a few remain still working. I'm about to drop this here and continue tomorrow.

The rules have been set up! Around an hour ago we recieved the information and basic topics the game should follow.
1. A complete game session must always last 5 minutes or less.
2. The surprise theme is : "As long as we have each other we will never run out of problems"
(you should interpret this in the way you like best)
3. One of the following aspects should be present in any way
a. Dry
b. Disoriented
c. Raised
My team is based of 3 people and we have an agreement for offering and receiving help from another team.
Our idea:
We plan to use my chibi character who is in love with his girlfriend. The enemies are their friends, their x-bf and gf's, and the in-laws
who'll be tossing items trying to separate them. You control them both and the objective is to avoid the items within the 5 minutes time limit.
In the end the final record will be displayed for future breaking.
